  • How Can You NOT Love the Xplory Stroller?

xplory1MommyQ was first introduced to the unique Stokke Xplory stroller last year. I actually got to see every little feature and benefit thanks to a peppy sales person who did a demo for me. Not too long after I saw it, it was featured in the “Sex and The City” movie as Charlotte’s stroller of choice. And what a stroller! You thought the Bugaboo or the Orbit was cool? The Xplory is beyond cool.

It may look odd because it sits so high off the ground, but that’s the point. A ride in this stroller puts your baby at eye level with everyone else. They no longer look at feet or breathe in dirt and dust from the ground. And you can easily push baby facing you instead of facing out to the crowds. In fact, CNN reported that facing-out strollers cause stress to babies. Seriously! Read the report here. Your baby benefits from an elevated perspective of his or her surroundings and it allows you to interact with your child more easily. (Think about it. Don’t you feel silly when you’re sitting at a table with everyone and you end up in the short chair?)

Now the Xplory is even more incredible because it can be customized. Oh boy! You know how much MommyQ loves anything with fabric options. Thanks to Xplory Moods, you can mix and match fabrics to create your own signature look. Check out the fabric options here.

Buy the Stokke Xplory Complete at BabyEarth for about $1200. Speaking of custom baby gear, this week I will be blogging about diaper bags from Kirsten James. Stay tuned!

  1. I LOVE my Stokke. I cannot imagine my son in anything else. The ride is smooth, it breaks down very easily and pretty compactly as well to fit in the back of my little Jetta trunk! I love him being so high up. The only draw back is the attention it gets in public when 12 people stop you in the grocery store or mall to ask about it- or even more embarrassing – ask you how much it costs!!!

  2. The Stokke Stroller is a good baby stroller and there’s really no comparing it to other strollers. It’s not the lightest or smallest stroller but it is quite durable and the best stroller for you and your little one.
